Good evening!!
Is there a source for the original 12volt generator parts?
I notice the brushes are very well worn and it’s not charging very good.
I’d prefer to leave it original with the power steering pump on the back of it if it’s possible.

Most likely it is a Delco Generator and from a '50's to early '60's Chevy generator which are the same. Take yours apart to confirm, click on below, scroll down, and take your pick:

A local starter/alternator repair shop can make it as good as new.
