The last CA I purchased has a Stanley muffler on it. My other two CA's have the Walker 22028 mufflers on them. I was able to purchase them new at the time. After looking high and low on the Internet I have not been able to come up with anything. Walker 22028 or Nelson 04566T are what I am looking for, any suggestions for a good replacement. Non China.

A&W Tractor in Cecil, WI has new Nelson mufflers available for most AC tractors.  I have one on my CA - sounds great.

The last Walker 22028 I got turned out to be a reboxed Stanley AC-3.  When I asked the parts guy to check on it the answer he got was, they weren't producing their version any more due to low demand.

That's what I was afraid of. Maybe I will get lucky and find one someday. Has anyone any experience with the restoration quality advertised mufflers from Steiner's and other places?

I got the stainless steel one from Steiner.  No problems so far.  Stays nice and shiny.
