what is the best way to test the alternator and regulator on AC5015 I checked the voltage today running at fast idle was only at 12.73 volts at the battery thanks |

i think the 5015 has an alternator with an internal voltage regulator.. Not sure there are parts available for rebuild... Might be cheaper to just install a new aftermarket alternator like a DENSO Mini, etc..

Take it off and bring it to a local rebuilder to run and load test it. He'll be able to tell you how good it is or how bad. They can be rebuilt, but sometimes it's better to price out a new unit first as Steve mentioned. The little pint size Denso fits a lot of applications with little mods. Steve@B&B

Alternator is putting out 20 volts ac
I just replaced the voltage regulator still nothing Any help will be c appreciated T GG anks |
