I am in the process of buy a hd15 a and I have a couple questions
1 is it a 12or 24 volt starting system
2 what year is it the number on the back corner is hd15a 1930
3 dose the clutch work like cats snap clutch cuz It don’t really feel like it
4 it jumps out of gear on the direction lever I under stand it’s gonna be a lot work to fix but I really enjoy working on the challenging stuff

#1930 puts it into 1956 production, per Wendel's book...Thumbs Up

The HD15 should be  12volts and the plunger rod  is bad condition if she jumps out of gears and if she jump   just one gear that gear is bad condition.

Thanks for the reply’s !   I haven’t ran the dozer yet I just started cutting it out of the bushes yesterday the engine isn’t locked up and I’m gonna make sure the rack is free. I think he had the pins and bushing turned not to long before he stopped running it   But the sprockets are pretty worn.   There is a place in Texas the sells new sprockets for the hd15 tho
