Ouch! While I still like farm toys, I sold all of mine at auction last winter after 12 years of them being in storage.

Had the barge wagon and the WD when I was a Kid. Wore them out! Was able to buy the WD a few years ago in very nice condition with a broken gear shift for $140, which I thought was a fair price. The one for sale has a gear shift but a broken muffler.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

Original boxes are what causes the prices like that.  Original boxes from that time area of the 40's, 50's, and 60's are hard to come by.

I think there was a set like that a few years back that was listed. I know that one went for 4 grand. I know it had a dozer in it....could have been the same set but I don't remember.
