it appears on this forum, and other forums I frequent, the topic of ‘problems with pto while bush hogging’ seem to be a constant problem. What are people doing wrong? Is too small of tractor for the implement? Attempting to operate the bush hogg with the engine barely above idle? Why is this such a constant challenge?
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

If I had to guess it's because of trying to use a rotary mower like a mulcher with a slightly small (or way to small) tractor. It's nothing new. Pawpaw's little man syndrome damn near destroyed every rotary mower he had.
