This may very well be the youngest WWII Veteran.
If my math is correct, he was only 14-yr-old when Germany surrendered in May 1945 and barely 15-yr-old when Japan surrendered in September 1945. He does look very young in one of his military photos. It would be interesting to know where this guy ranks as youngest when the war ended.

When I was a kid I met a man who may have been the youngest B 17 pilot of the war. He was a very decent man and quite interesting.
