I need a new tach for my D15 II diesel. The AGCO website shows 2 different part numbers. D17 diesel part number do not match either of those. Is there much difference between the D17 and D15 tachs? Can a D17 tach be used instead? I cannot find any new repro D15 diesel tachs. Does anyone have a good original tach or know where I could find one? Many thanks!

I would imagine a D-17 tach would be fine. The ground speed MPH will be different as will the PTO RPM. Top speed is 2200?? on a D-15 and only 2,000 on a D-17. Actually a D-19 tach would be better for engine speed.
