Saturday_22-March-2025 International Harvester Cub Lo-Boy w/One Arm Loader 1963-1967 Owned by Juvenile Barger of Resurrection City, Kentucky Although not readily evident in these photos, as per the information in the links, several models of these small Internationals have the engine/hood offset to one side; these Model 1000 loaders only have a single arm so as to accommodate that offset. Did you click the links ? - One of them takes you to an article about that particular loader.

hmmmmmm....., I tried at least five times to fix them and the web-address showing in the link box thingie is exactly correct. I can copy it from there and paste it into the search bar and it immediately goes to either place. When I click the "CLICK HERE" and the link fails, the address showing in the bar is exactly the same as what I am using... Something ain't right for certain. I pasted the addresses that are working for me in the body of the message so you guys should be able to copy/paste and get there. The first link, the one about the loader, is well worth a look if only to see some guys Border Collie dogs; the loader information is good too.

Grandfather on my Mom’s side had a standard Farmall Cub(not the lowboy version), had a 1 row cultivator on it, also a 1 bottom plow, but he never used that. Grew tomatoes, peppers, and parsley, and supplied grocery stores and restaurants on the west side of Madison Wisconsin for many years.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

They sure were popular around here for mowing duty. I've not seen one in any other type of work other than running an auger myself.

Here in the Burley Tobacco capitol of the world, it's about 50/50 whether they have a belly-mower or mounted cultivators and side-dressers.

One of ours serves duty with a 1 bottom plow for the gardens and cultivating sweet corn. Another is a non runner but had a few cultivator parts and the front depth control I use with the plow. Third is a Loboy my late FIL had. It has a mower deck he used many years. Was previously used for groundskeeping at Owen's Brush Co. prior to becoming OralB.
Neat discussion on the loader attachment. Edited by plummerscarin - 2 hours 56 minutes ago at 10:00pm |
