Wish I still had one....my first one to ride on was as a kid....dad and pap had matching Kawasaki 440 Intruders, and my first I owned was a Massey Ferguson Ski Whiz....had a few El Tigre's after that and a LiquiFire but havent had any in awhile.

My first one was a Ski-doo 640 Nordic that plowed its way down the trail, then on to John Deere 440 Trailfires, then to arctic cat jag and cougar. Now my little ones ride an arctic cat kitty cat. I ride in northern Illinois all the way thru Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I also have visited and rode Yellowstone national park. At 49 years old I can’t believe the difference in suspension systems and ride comfort that I have seen in the 35 years of riding.

Happy Trails,

Danny

Got a 1994 polaris 440 super sport, this is the 9th year i have owned it, and the only major thing I have done to it was put chain case bearings and seals in it last year, I have never done a thing to the engine besides clean the carbs.  Lookin to buy something different next year.

I still ride a little, but my son rides more then me. I have 4 ski-doo's, one 2000 Mach with a 800 triple that is our racer, it flys, one 97 Formula III which i took out that doggy 600 triple and replaced it with a 780 triple, now that made  a machine out of that, and i have 2 2004 revs with 600 SDI's that you ride on trails, those machines are made for trails, smooth riding and good handling.  We where all out riding a few days ago, but all snow gone for now here in the thumb of Michigan.

We just sold ours. We had 4 Artic Cats. 2 '05 Jokers,  a 600 and the other a 700. Also had an '06 crossfire 600 and an '06 600 standard. They were all low milage as we never had time to ride them. When I sold them they went to Canada.

I used to have an AC Jag, then a couple yamahas , Enticer , & a Phazer. My sons now have Artic Cats. My Grand sons Raced Kitty Kats , AC 120, & a kitty kat mod. They did very well , but just got too expensive to keep up for just a back yard mechanic. Brendon (oldest grand son) was the KC pro east champion. in 2007. they outlawed orange sleds, so had to paint his 120 black. I'm more of a tractor man so I had to keep the artic cat name going, with a grass cat.

JD trail fire.

Friends make me ride up front through the woods. The call her the stump jumper due to its heavy steel skid plate.  When I hit a rock, stump, or other object the don't drive there to save their skid pan.

Northern Wisconsin is great for snowmobling along with the Michigan U.P. This year we need snow. My family started with 2 1970 Ski-doos. One was a 399 and the other one was smaller. Advanced to a 1991 Polaris 500. Sold it this year for $1000 and bought a 2009 Ski-doo 600 E-tech. (Big bucks spent). It rides like and dream compared to the first Ski-doos. Speed-o goes to 200. To old to go over 40 mph now. The new suspension systems are great. I can ride all day and not get a sore back. Trails are great up here. Come for a ride this winter.
