Hi all. I am considering sending my Zenith carburetor in to ASAP to get it re-manufactured. I guess they repair and replace everything in it. Do any of you have experience with them? They don't have one to exchange. So, I would have to send them mine. I am a little skeptical of that. Apparently, they must be tough to come by. If anyone has used that? About how long does it take?  Thanks

.

Depending what the situation is, get the $80 harbor freight ultrasonic cleaner, some purple cleaner and dawn dish soap, split the carb and give it several cycles.

Then don't buy any ethanol fuel, recreational fuel only.

Steve rebuilt one for me years ago, still going fine.  The only downside is the shipping & that's a minor inconvenience.

Thanks guys for the referrals!  As the guys mentioned, I do complete rebuilding of Carbs, Distributors, Mags, Starters, Alternators, Generators and 3 position Headlight/Charging switches. Been doing this work for 54 years. Drop me a line if interested. Be glad to help you out....Thumbs Up
