I have a hd11e power shift dozer and was wondering if I could swap a manual direct drive transmission out of an hd11b dozer into the hd11e ??

Chris...No...not even close...transmission cases are different ring gears...pinion gears are different...etc.   What's wrong with your EP transmission?

The transmission seems sluggish, like it’s in between reverse and forward at the same time. You can actually put into reverse second gear and then switch back into forward first gear and the transmission pushes fine with out being sluggish but after about a minute or less of pushing it goes back into be sluggish again . Also second gear forward is out and the transmission will get hot after about an hour of pushing.
I’m thinking fluid is bypassing internal.

Chris....Yes sounds like you might be in for a major transmission restoration....parts are hard to come by now. We currently have one of those transmissions out working on it now.
