135 RPM hydraulic motor. Now I can stay warm in the cab instead of getting out to turn the handle.

I have seen Windshield Wiper Motors used to turn Blower Shutes because of their very slow RPM.

That speed motor seems about perfect for controlling the chute rotation and direction. Very similar to the hand crank speed.

12 volt window motors quite common retrofit on garden tractor sized snowblowers, not sure if they would up to the task on a heavier blower like this.

Doubt that a 12v window motor would have enough torque for that large of chute.
Hydraulic motor would be the best route to take.

I adapted an early GM power window motor/gear to the snowblower on my JD GX345.
A bit of work, but it moved the chute easily.
Rather than letting the motor stall out at the end of travel, I built a spring-loaded clutch
to protect the drive; adjusted to just slip when it hit either end of travel.
Also used a 12v actuator for the deflector; stock item at Surplus Center.
(video taken before cab installed)


BTW, the GX345 w cab, mower & snowblower is for sale.  PM me for info.

I still have the hand crank on the chute turner for my snowblower, but I recently used a 12-volt linear actuator with a double pole, double throw momentary switch to tilt the tip of the chute up or down. 
I was more concerned about the tip, since I could easily turn the chute from the seat but had to shut everything down and get off every time, to tilt the chute.
