Bought 3 new beds

   For son, guest room and myself.  That meant a big time clean up in my room.  Found all my reloading stuff which I had not thought of in 8 or so years.  Reloaded 130 .270 140 grain bullets, then 55 .264 Win Mags, then about 60 .44 Mags.  Ordered new brass for .22.250 and more .270 .  I enjoy reloading but its time to shoot more!  Bought another crossfire II 4 to 16 power for my 264 as I have that same vortex scope on the  270.  Also ordered a new vortex crossfire II 6 to 24 power for the Ruger #1 bull barreled 22.250.  Its always had a Leopold 16x and the crosshairs are so fine I can hardly see them any more!  I have been-reloading since 1971 as I started on a weekend off from Cornell U when I was goose hunting with a college friend.  Any how soon my new to me  Oliver 880 will arrive and I can get back up in my cozy shop to make her as she was new in 1958.  Cheers.

	Well get to sleep better, cleaned up some and managed to reload some fun!! Good times for all! All on top of the 88 that will take thru spring to reveal a cleaner sharper machine. Enterprising.

	Great stuff Captain! A good nights sleep is important before baling hay! Interesting you have a .264, not so many of them out there. I love mine but haven't fired it in years. Longest/best shot I ever made was with that .264 on a mule deer in Wyoming. I recently sat down at the loading bench too, first time win many, many moons! Resized 100 45 long colts is all. Not as efficient after the move, had to use Dad's press. Will load them with cast bullets, cheap practice rounds.

	Mile I reload 12 and 20gauge, 45 Colt, 44 mag, 357 mag, 264 win mag , 270 win, 7mm rem mag, 22.250rem. Have not done for my 9mm or my 380 as of yet. I tried H4831short cut powder last week on both 270 and 264. Will try themout some nice sunny day 😁

	Nice. I’ve been reloading a while with a single stage press and manual scales. I weigh every round. I’ve never loaded bulk. I bought a RCBS progressive a couple years back and haven’t set it up yet. This may be the winter. I load for 25-06 and 223 I have 30-06 22 Hornet 9 mm and 357 dies. I bought a 5 gallon bucket of 223/556 range brass a couple years back. I sorted, swapped , culled and trashed a bunch. It was an all winter deal to get it sorted and prepped. I made a small electric motor in to a primer pocket reamer. Prices and availability have slowed my process a bunch plus the fact that I just don’t shoot like I used to.

	Captain, in my youth I loaded 10,12, and 20 ga. .44 special and mag. .454 Causull and .45 long colt. That's probably all the pistol rounds. In the rifle world, well, many and varied! From .17 Rem up to 30/378. I have a pile of dies, big pile. Favorites of mine over the years; .22/250, .220 Swift, .223, .222 Magnum, .243, .244, .240 Weatherby Magnum .25/06, .257 Weatherby, .264 Winchester Magnum, and .300 Weatherby. Have had and shot many others but these are the ones I liked the best. Current .243 has a 1-14" twist barrel for light bullets. They really zing! Even surpassing the mighty Swift. In the shotgun realm, I loaded a lot of trap ammo. Used both progressive and single stage presses, MEC. Loaded a lot of steel for waterfowl too, always on a single stage. Even weighed or counted the pellets as anything bigger than 5's do not go through a charge bar worth a hoot. Some of the 10 gauge stuff I loaded should probably just be torn apart and salvaged. No interest in abusing my shoulder like that anymore and they were borderline safe anyway. With the price of components today, really glad I did most of my shooting 30 years ago. Even if I found a great prairie dog town I've got enough stuff loaded and components to keep me going a very long time. Approaching retirement and thinking I'll have time for more hunting has re-kindled my interest.

	Hopefully the reloads will get you game into the freezer to offset the cost of 3 new beds !!!

	Mike I always wanted a Swift, but the 22.250 with 50 grainers will have to do. I do not harvest ducks geese or deer any more, I raise them 🤭. “Giving back” to nature as I have done my share of harvesting in the past. The beds were 3900, 2900 and 2100 bucks. Ouch😂

	Captain, that doesn't look like a project! Looks like a really nice 880 already. I would love to have one myself, have been hunting an Ollie for a while now. Plenty of room in the shed for something of the Meadow Green persuasion. If you have a good .22/250 I'd stay with it. Had a couple in years gone by that I miss now. Building a new shooting bench is on the list for this year, have the range kind of figured out. Ahhh, the to-do list......
