I bought a a chalmers forklift with a Waukesha 4 cylinder flat head engine was told it had a bad head gasket after removing the head and finding gasket not blown I checked the head and has a crack in the head, is there anyplace to find the head

Are you certain that the engine is a Waukesha - while I am not by any means an expert I do know that Allis entered the forklift business through the acquisition of the Buda company. Have also seen Continental motors in Allis Forklifts - am wondering also if the motor in the forklift had been replaced at some point? What is the model # of the Forklift?
