The tach for a D17 will NOT be correct for a D14 The grounds speed for the different gears as well as the PTO mark will be different.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Your correct Paul but I will give him a call to see if he has the correct one. He may have others to sell not listed. Thanks Kenny

There was a Gent selling NOS Allis tachs at the GOTO in Upstate New York last summer.

WF or someone else may have a contact for him.

Kenny, I called Mark and he had 1-D14 tach left. Interesting and nice fella. He bought 12 tractor trailer loads of NOS from multiple dealers 2 years ago and is selling those parts. He sent me pictures of the tach in its original box with the part number on it. It also comes with a factory cable. He had 40 tachometers at one time.
Appreciate the lead!!

Really happy with my NOS tach that arrived. Haven’t been able to start my D14 since I have the front end removed to install the power steering. Pump is installed, I don’t want to start it with no fluid in it but I’m sure the 65 year old tach which was still in the AC box will work just fine.

Are you referring to the drive that screws into the back of the governor? Yes, I purchased that from the parts tractor that I got the power steering from before I ever started looking for a tach. Just in case I found one. Good catch
