Is it just me or is everyone having a problem of mice?
It wouldn’t hurt my feelings too much if mice went extinct!!!
They destroy everything thing!
Decided to convert my “57 45 to 12 volt and pulled the battery dash off and found something that made my mouth go dry, most of the hot wiring was bear naked!!!
Boy did that scare the crap out of me because I have left it with a battery in it for quite awhile…
I also had a brake rod on my “49 wd break because a dumb mouse had crapped on it and it rusted clean out…

I certainly have my share of mouse problems as well. I have a trap line in 3 buildings checked daily. A couple really smart ones are getting away frequently. I have traps in a pickup and combine. The combine is getting a bucket with trip lid for multiple days/mice. I'll let you know how that works

I have barn cats, no problem with mice.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

How long does it take for mice to start causing problems? Around here it seems to take months. I've never had a problem but I run my old c 10 probably once a month. Just wondering. Thanks

Maybe a week? My crew cab sits more than others. I have a trap inside the cab. As for cats, there are 17 at the farm and I still catch mice.

I throw out packets of pellets in all the barns/out buildings and put "cab fresh" packets in and around wiring of all stored lawn tractors and their big brothers - AC tractors.

I have small cat entrances to my machine sheds and three cats.  Only mice I ever see are the occasional dead one or remains of a partly eaten one!

I have cats in the barn, they catch mice and I still see mice once in a while. They catch a rat here and there, but I think they are outnumbered and out bred.

I’ve been using Rat X for a while, not too sure how well it’s working. Supposed to be safe for all animals except rodents is why I’m using it. It’s very expensive, ….. think it’s working somewhat.

Don’t want to harm the cats or dad’s dog if he were to get into it first or second hand. Would definitely give the tipping lid bucket trap a try.

Wink   Your cats are just slakers. LOL  Down to one stray tom cat, about 5 years ago. Then another wondered in to the front of house a second to the back. Now a 30 pound bag of dry food a week. My wife can pet a 1/4 of them. They even leave a dead squirrel around sometimes. Thankfully the mice are not keeping up.
