For sale on marketplace, not mine. Just curious about the round front axle, I’m guessing someone added this after the fact? I’m not aware of any round front axles ever coming from the factory on the d17’s. Just curious what anyone else may know about it.

Schwartz brand after-market. They made them for all brands of tractors. Also, no power steering !!!

I think it may be a Speeco, similar to schwartz but not as strong.

What leads you to need an aftermarket front axle.
Wanting to change your narrow front to wide.

Im guessing maybe the aftermarket was easier to get than a factory one at the time?
