Fiddling around with my D 19 gasser. She’s completely tuned up, runs like a top. I was trying to make it idle more precisely and discovered there is nothing for that spring loaded idle screw to bump up against nothing but … AIR!…how am I supposed to fine-tune the Idle?

Remove the carb and I think it's missing a roll pin.

Doc sounds like he's right on as usual wit' dat Cap. I've gotten customer Carbs in like that with the pin missing. A little JB weld on the end of a roll pin and Viola! Fixed!

Steve, viola is a big violin. Which reminds me of a orchestra joke: how do you keep people from stealing your violin? Put it in a viola case. Apparently violas aren't very popular
