Getting my dad's 1964 D-15 going again and am at the ignition. At some time in the past the push button circuit was disconnected and a key switch with start position was installed. The key had broke off in the thing and a screw driver sufficed for a while. Finally got both key and push button switches out from behing panel. Push putton switch metered 1000 ohms or so with button depressed, so that was probably related to switchover from original configuration.
looking for best place to get replacements similar to originals. my electronics knowledge is limited to basic R&R so browsing autozone for options that might work is out.

Call STEVE at B&B and talk to him.. He probably has 5 different ways to do it depending on if you want it to look ORIGINAL, or use a key or other. He does generators AND Alternators also if you got questions on charging...

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |
