Looking for some help with mounting my voltage regulator for a D10 series III. I want to put it in the correct location. From the old pictures I viewed, it looks like it mounts below the generator. Is there a special bracket that I need to mount it? Would someone be willing to share some pictures of their D10 series III and voltage regulator? Thanks for the help!

You are correct, there is a bracket the bolt on with the generator bracket. I don't have a picture handy at the moment. I had bent up a few of them to have on hand a while back, I don't know if I have any left or not.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.

Thanks for confirming. If anyone has the bracket to sell or some better pictures of it that would be awesome. When I got my tractor, it was missing. Thanks.

Alright so I did a little digging and I think I found the bracket in the AGCO parts book. The part number is 70241730. Does anyone have one I could buy or copy for my project? Thanks in advance.

I know you've already got the part.  I bought a regulator that fits on the CA generator (79004807) exactly in the place of the cutout.  It works great although it is larger and does limit the belt adjustment range of motion slightly.  I resolved that by changing the belt length.  So far, so good.

I would be willing to mount it on the generator but unfortunately it doesn't have any holes on the generator to mount a regulator. Therefore I would like to find the original bracket and make it correct. Not restoring the tractor but planning on taking it on some rides and tractor shows.

Sorry, the replacement generator I checked before posting did have the holes.  I didn't check carefully enough for the OEM.
