I hear you, Doc I know what you mean. I plowed the nastiest hardest clay a month ago with the 20. When I came to the ‘V’ where both sides met…I could NOT turn a 180 as the boulders of hard clay would have destroyed EVERYTHING. my initial thoughts were that I could fall seed it, but in reality, I need mother nature to freeze thaw freeze thaw freeze thaw it all winter long for me. If it’s still real bad next spring I’ll holler for you!👨‍✈️😁

When I was of the age to be first turn loose in a field to plow, my father laid down a rule" the one that plowed a field had to be the first one to pull the drag over the plowed ground". It didn't take long to learn how to plow and not leave a field looking like wild hogs had been rooting around instead of a tractor pulling a plow. I also learned if ground wasn't properly ready to plow to leave it until it was. In those days we plowed all winter if it was fit to plow. Now a couple generations have grown up not knowing how to properly adjust a plow to do a good job. Many that do still plow just have a big tractor and bull through it not bothering to fine tune a plow so that it will do a better job and pull easier.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
