8000 Serial numbers

It appears that my 8030 does not have a serial number as seen on the product identification sticker.  Any explanation for this?
With that said, is the number on the rear housing the same as the serial number usually?

Serial number stamped into the rear end housing just above the PTO shield and to the left.

If I remember my letters correctly its a fwa power shift # 2929
