What size is your tractor? My 200 just went through the same thing. There was some debris caught in between the two fittings underneath the fuel tank on the right side. Good luck hope this helps.

Have a 200 here. Went through similar problems. It would also run hot. Granted, it was hot outside but losing power wasn't right. I changed both fuel filters which didn't help much so I disconnected the fuel line at the inlet side of the first filter. Very little flow from the fuel tank. Blew compressed air in the line back to the tank and have had no issues since. Granted this is likely to happen again but am not going to do a proper flush at this time.

I don't understand the nomenclature. What does it mean to "chug". Does that mean it runs or stops running?

Probably a bad rendition and relay of the problems/symptoms. Lot of variable(s) but would need to know gas, diesel, fuel gas, etc. New poster so very well could be spam of some sort.
