does anyone no where i can find a oil pan for the 185 that the oil pump runs on crank the newer stile motor

I recall a few years back I made a few trips up to Dry Ridge. I remember a farm out on Highway 36 near Jonesville. There must have been a couple dozen or more older AC tractors scattered all over the property. Various models from WD up into the 190 style. You wouldn't be familiar with that place would you?

I am a fortunate individual. If I drive no more than 2 hrs from my house, I can take advantage of SIX salvage yards for old tractor parts. I can't imagine places around the country that don't have anything ??????????

Sorry for the delay in response. I've had a few other things come up recently. I'd take $20.00 for the pan. I need to get it out of storage to be sure it's correct. I think that there were only two pans for the 180-185, depending on the oil pump location. Mine might have been off of a combine engine, that had a crank driven oil pump, but I'm not sure if it's different than the tractor pan. Will check.

The pan that I have is a #4023964. It is off of a gleaner L or M combine. The only difference, from a tractor pan,that I see is that it doesn't have a drain plug in the bottom. It has drain plugs on each side. That would make it a little messy when draining oil in a tractor because of the front end wishbone.

cant find any that has the oil pan for the motor that has the crank driven oil pump all have the old style

Yes. I've actually got two of them,but as I said, they are both off of combine engines. They have the drain plugs in a different location than the tractor application. I also have one of the cam driven oil pump pans too. I can send you pictures if you want.

I,m seeing on AGCO parts that a late 185 Crank driven oil pump PAN is the same as a 7000 # 74024125, correct me if I,m wrong. Dave
