According to the computer, the northern lights may be visible as far south as southern Iowa. I've only seen them once clear back in the 1950's. I hope they show up tomorrow night.

Some friends in Calhoun sent a picture of a pink/purple light in the sky about 10pm last night. They're about 20 miles west of us. We couldn't see anything here because of clouds

Couldn't see any here as the annual wildfire smoke blew in here from Northern Alberta and BC. It's going to be another summer of sore eyes and sore throats.

I went out into country on Friday night to get some pic's. Not sure what went wrong but pic's didn't turn out on my Samsung phone. Sat. night I fell asleep & didn't go retry. It's cloudy this afternoon and will be tonight. Heard on TV best show of Northern Lights in about a century.

Hi all we can see the southern lights down here. If you take photos use your night mode. When I looked I was not impressed but through the camera on night mode the lights so much more spectacular
