New guy here….I’ve got my 7060 split in half and am having trouble removing the power director unit. I have all the bolts out and it is stuck. I don’t have the removal tool but I rigged up a chain on the 2 half inbolts and have it attached to a hoist, but I’m almost picking the rear half of the tractor up and it will not budge, rotate, nothing. Has anyone else had similar trouble and what could I do to break it loose? Thanks in advance for the help.

Never had the problems you are having. Maybe attach a big slide hammer to one of those 1/2" bolts and give it a lick or three.

Thanks for the reply Doc. I got it out. It was just stuck, I guess by the o-ring which btw is hard as a rock. Pretty sure this is a survivor that has either never been apart or was a long time ago. I had to wedge a 2x6 between the snout of the power director housing and the case (it fit almost perfectly) and gently pry against the transmission housing and it finally popped loose.
