 Topic: 1935 25-40 "Threshermans special"

For those like myself , that love the old originals, I was fortunate to purchase this tractor from Michigan. He'd held on to it for 30 years, and had got it from an old shed where it had been belted up to a sawmill for 25+ years before he got it. The block is stamped Kero 5 1/4 and runs beautiful. I do intend to swap out the patched manifolds with a set of NOS one's I'd been holding onto, so I can run it as dual fuel again. This picture was taken along the ride home back to Maine in front of the hotel in Pa.

Good save! Not sure if it is a Thresherman's Special though. Threshermans were the E 30-60 and had some features that the regular 25-40 didn't. Most notably, a whistle on the exhaust stack, increased horsepower and a canvas covered canopy. I am not an expert on these tractors, but I remember seeing Arland Lepper's interview on a Classic Tractor Fever video from one of the Orange Spectaaculars when it was still at Larry Karg's farm, where he pointed out the differences.
