I'm getting Gooder and gooder,,,,at making this great Corn Bread ala' my good Buddy's recipe,,Thanks to Ole Thad,,,!!! Sure loving that honey and the creamed corn additions,,,, The only'ist thing,,,it is pretty dang addictive,,,,!!! |

Well,,DirtFarmer,,,Ya see,,I cannot really,,,or I say,,I should NOT do that,,,,cause I already fudged on the amount of Honey in the recipe to start with,,,,, I went with 3 TBS of Honey instead of just two,,,,,!!! Dang,,but it is SOoooo tasty,,!! My aim for today is to whip up a pot of beans as my son has one of them cookers that will do that almost in a pair of minutes,,,,,,,,,,,

i make mine with one of those premixed packages i butter the pan about a 1/8 to 1/4 inch deep. pour about half the batter in, then pour about a 1/4 inch layer of honey, then the rest of the batter , and another 1/4 inch deep layer of honey cover and bake its not dry and is more like a desert

mine turn out more like brownies or a cake it stays moist , would like to try it without as much honey and add browned sausage or hamburger with bacon green peppers mixed in it
