Its in suprisingly good shape. I didnt think Id ever find one. We had a 21 ft centerfold 30 years ago. Best disk we ever owned. This one came from only 15 miles down the road. The young man that had its uncle went to school with my mother. It amazes me how things work out sometimes

My brothers been pulling his 25 footer with a black 7060 P.D. with 20.8 x 38's for the last 30+ years. No regrets whatsoever. Non rock flex gangs.

Glad I’m not the only one bringing home green stuff. We’ve been trying to find a NH discbine in our price range for 2 years. Instead, found a really nice one owner JD MoCo 45 minutes away from home today. Brought home a JD round baler also. Guess we will see how this green stuff performs this spring. Not sure how our Allis’s are gonna feel using them, it sure is difficult not being able to buy a Allis product to replace our 904 haybine.

Its a Deutz Allis. Its spring green not jd green. It Allis Chalmers design. It was built in tne Laport plant that deutz accuired from AC. Identical to the orange 2500

Pretty sure if the disc is spring green it was built by Vermeer Corporation (under contract) in Pella, Iowa.  Deutz never used LaPorte and had all their implements and the 385 planter built by Vermeer.

Trust me I’m not putting your Duetz disc down it’s a nice one. We have a 20’ version in orange. Really good disc. My comment was only related to green equipment we recently picked up. My apologies if I offended you. Wish ours was Duetz green instead of the other. New territory for us as we have always been AC and a NH 273 square baler. It was just time to upgrade our 390 haybine. 50 years of good service. Can’t tell you how many acres of hay it’s cut in that time. It’s been a good machine but it’s way past it’s time to upgrade.

Not sure why I said 904 in my previous post. It’s a 390.

The tillage equipment that Vermeer built for Deutz-Allis had a capital V in front of the serial number. We had a couple of those 2600 DA disks. Sold the 30 footer, still have the 25 foot.
