I'm on the Model T forum once in a while, and I believe Steve is on that forum quite a bit. At least I think its the same Steve Jelf. I have a Model T, but most of them on that site would frown at my 26' Coupe being they're purists. Although it isn't cut up, it is equipped with a 4 cylinder Mercruiser boat engine that I installed, not Henry.... LOL!

Steve was involved in a serious crash while on his way to the OCF in Dearborn. He was seriously injured and suffered a traumatic brain injury. He's in Chicago getting treatment and recovery. He's had his ups and downs, as expected.
Best information is to go to the model t website: www.mtca.com look in the discussion forum. All his updates are posted under his name.

Oh boy, sorry to hear about Steve's crash. Didn't have a clue that happened. Hope he's recovering okay... That confirms it's the same Steve Jelf on the Model T forum.
