Well, for the first time I am having issues getting parts for a 919H. Seams since B&S took over, parts are being discontinued. Looking for the idler pulley arm/bushing on the deck. NLA, also can’t get a 20A circuit breaker. Guess I will put a fuse link and 20 A fuse in its place. I guess they wanna force us to by their new junk instead of keeping our 40 year plus mowers going.

Both of those should be 'common place' items.....
20A CB could be a NAPA item, silver can ,about 2 sugar cubes in size with 8/32 studs on it...
bushing ? should be available at a 'bearing supply house'.

If you have the part numbers, just 'google'. Probably 1,000s of hits for them.
Sad thing is I have lots of them here,'somewhere' in the garage..

It seams they looked up my tractor and deck number incorrectly. Part on order, circuit breaker in stock. As I searched online both were NLA, it was a general search for 919H parts diagram. Partly my fault for not providing the serial number and partly theirs for not asking. Just saying, computers are good tools, just don’t always provide the correct information.

Napa or Carquest didn’t have either after I struck out with my dealer. They could see them but no one could get them. Out of stock with no future stock. So my lesson is, always provide the serial number of the machine or deck when talking to a dealer. Makes a world of difference apparently other than saying for a 917H or 919H. One would think it should not matter but it does even though that line of machine and deck were made for many years with no changes.

Rob,
I'm surprised you didn't drop me a line. I have all types of circuit breakers up the wazoo.

Yes I’ve got what I need Mike. Fuel pump should arrive anytime. Steve, you was my next call but I needed the idler pulley and the circuit breaker and was hoping to get it from one place to save on shipping. Yeah, I’m a tight wad....lol

Ok. We have those idler pulleys and bushings.
Curious Is your deck single bolt holding blade on or double bolt.
If the parts person doesn’t have experience with these older pieces. It’s confusing at times. Lots of number changes o some things.

Thanks Mike, but the dealer got it straightened out that day and it’s on order. Might get here by Wednesday depending on the mail. It’s a single bolt arbor, with the idler arm held on by the lift eye bolt. Hope that never breaks that thing is over $50!
