it has been a while. phone went down lost all notes and photos on repairs. but that's another story. Trying to remember what to do or how to clean valve on the traction booster or lift arm valve. This is to allow the lift arms to stay in the lower position, instead of creeping up or staying up. would ask bill from sandy lake but he has retired.

If the 3 pt arms come up when the tractor is started and won't go back down, you have a stuck traction booster spool valve. Move the traction booster and depth control levers all the way forward. Make sure all the pivots on the linkage is free to move. From the rear, take the cap off the spool closest to the fender and with a punch gently tap it forward. The arms will drop. Unless you need the TB for plowing, don't mess with it.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

Traction Booster linkage, Position Control linkage and the hydraulic spool/plunger itself are all potential problems to "stick" when not used often. There's only one hydraulic spool/plunger that is controlled by two sets of linkages: TBoost and Position control.

thanks again, my uncle was pleased we were able to have the lift arms moving under his control. took cap off back of spool, moved plunger forward, put a 3/8" impact with 1/2" socket to turn plunger to remove dirt, dust and oil build up off with brass brush.
