I started cleaning and powerwashing my unstyled wc today and found some welding behind the carb. It doesn't leak but it's ugly and I know it's there. What should I do? Is an unstyled wc block the same as a wd? Otherwise I had a great afternoon using my early Christmas present a new pressurewasher. The weather was in the low 50's so my wife let me have my present early. Hopefully I can clean a spot in the shop and get started on the restore.

Don's right...it won't hurt a thing,especially since it doesn't leak at all at this time. However,if you ever need one,I've got a couple of them that I would sell reasonable. They don't have any cracks between any of the cylinder sleeves or internally or externally. Rick

The 201 block is different in a WC compared to a WD...the WC has a side plate on the right side of the engine behind the magneto....WD's dont....at least the 45's dont....someone please correct me if Im wrong that WD blocks dont have it as well.....

I am still confident of this;
I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Ps 27 |

Unstiled WC blocks don't have the three 3/8 bolts along the right side of the block for head bolts. Other than the three bolts they are the same. MACK
