I tried to mount snow plow on the 616 today but obviously Im missing somthing. It mounts with pins onto the tractor frame. What do I need to lift it? Brian S

If its the same as what I have, you would remove the rear lift
ram for the 3 point or have a spare lift ram to install on the front
blade to lift it.  Not sure if there is more than one model of front
blade but that is the way mine works.  Den

I have a frame on front of tractor. Do I need more frame work to attach cylinder to?

There is an adaptor bracket that drops from beside the engine frame down and forward that the pins go through to the plow frame. Also Den is correct. The 616 only has one lift circuit so you have quick disconnects on the rear lift and you must remove the cyl. and put it on the bracket to lift it up.
On the later models (620/720), there are split lift circuits and you do not need to swap the lift cyl. You must at least disconnect the rear lift or it will not allow you to have good control of the front blade height due to the rear cyl. moving. Also on the 616 there was a bracket made to lock the blade in a raised position so you can leave the blade attached but swap the lift cyl. back to the rear for normal use. I have one of these brackets if you need. I also have what it takes to convert the single lift circut to dual circuits like the later models.
