There is an adaptor bracket that drops from beside the engine frame down and forward that the pins go through to the plow frame. Also Den is correct. The 616 only has one lift circuit so you have quick disconnects on the rear lift and you must remove the cyl. and put it on the bracket to lift it up.
On the later models (620/720), there are split lift circuits and you do not need to swap the lift cyl. You must at least disconnect the rear lift or it will not allow you to have good control of the front blade height due to the rear cyl. moving. Also on the 616 there was a bracket made to lock the blade in a raised position so you can leave the blade attached but swap the lift cyl. back to the rear for normal use. I have one of these brackets if you need. I also have what it takes to convert the single lift circut to dual circuits like the later models.
