Was fooling around on hibid and found an allis collection selling end of august dixon allis chalmers and studebaker collection. Neat stuff but under the terms, on line only, no pre inspection at all and they will only give you the address if you are a successful bidder. Wonder if you need to wear kevlar for loading.

You may want to try calling the auction directly. That definitely sounds very strange.

No pre inspection seems odd. But I understand the secrecy. Recently won a bid for a disc chisel but we were allowed an inspection by appointment. The property had no one living there. The place was only a mile from my house and the owners lived several counties away

More proof that auctioneers are crooks. I would never have bid on something I couldn't have gotten a first hand look at. Sound like they are trying to unload a bunch of junk with Dupont restorations.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

I think Plumber is right.. It says right on the Web Page that most of the tractors and cars DO NOT RUN...Bid accordingly.. If your buying a mower or implement, consider it well used and setting around for a long time..
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Sounds like the owner of the items in the auction is the one setting the rules
