That's a lot of corn sheller there. Can you get enough trucks to keep your bins empty running both combines? I guess it depends on how far you haul it and who you haul it to.

No the L3 just plays when we are close to home. That was the first day of harvest this year so we were getting the combines set behind the house. IG |

The series 3 conventionals had all the right updates to make them first class machines. Our last set of conventionals were a 82 L2, 85 L3 and you could always tell where the L2 was in the field, but not the L3, LOL!!!!. Thanks John for all the photo's., Mike

Great photos John!!! I really like the extensions on that A85!! How much grain do they hold vs. the factory? The L3 really looks like a clean machine!!

Looks like you had some weed problems. How bad did it affect the yields? Was the stand week or was it a chemical issue?

Are the tank and auger extentions both made by Maurer? We have their auger extention on our R75. How many bushlels will she hold when the horn honks at you?

ILgleaner, thanks for sharing your photos. Both machines look great and interesting that the corn heads are 6 on the L3 versus 12 on the A85. Wow, the newer machines capacity is simply awesome!! Do you think the A85 could do 16 rows in 250+bu corn?

The combine has a BigTop ,and it holds a little over 400. The auger has the 3 ft extender on it. The weed pressure was from thin stand. We left the first few fields that we planted.
