Spent all three days at the farm getting caught up on some projects. Got the 185 hooked to the corn planter full of fuel. Just need to put the monitor on and fill the boxes and go to the field.

Worked on the 490 IH disc. Got some new parts that have been on the shelf for quite awhile installed. That always makes me feel good!

The capper was yesterday. Had both 45's and one WD out and used them all. The Wide Front only got to make two passes with the plow but I'll take whatever plow time I can get. Narrow Front got quite a bit of time with the 7' Allis disc. That little disc is so handy for waterway repair and little seeding jobs in general. WD Micha finished the day drilling the grass seed. Have some more to do today but really good to get this stuff done early.

Even took some pics, everything needs a bath!

First, thanks.

The front tires are 7.5LX15's, had the rims, bought new Firestones for them. They are mounted on six bolt hubs off some sort of a hundred series. Had to go to series 4 D-17 spindles and steering arms to do that. I had thought about 9.5LX15's but really like these.

Plows are both 16". If you look closely you'll see that I switched plows before going to the field. That 73 is a great plow but it's HEAVY! Sometimes when the oil is hot it drifts down. Since there was a fair bit of road travel involved I opted for the 63.

I finished up with the WD and drill today, at least what I had prepared.

On both 45's actually. They look different because the WF has 15" rims I built and the NF has 13", probably from a D-17.

Good looking group! I like that disk, too. It does look like a handy size. I have an IH 470 disk so something smaller and maybe even fully mounted snap coupler might be handy.

Thanks everyone.
wjohn, the snap-coupler disc is also very handy. Have one for the CA but it is currently sitting with no gas tank. I think this 200 is a little heavier, cuts very nicely!
