So last week there was a black bar 17 on FB marketplace not too far away. Guy says runs & operates as it should, $3000, a little steep but not bad since it looked to be original not cobbled & not a dent to be seen. Two days later ad says "today only" $2500. Brother & I took a trip 5  days later & there she sat at a local farm equip. dealer! I jumped on, started it up no smoke or noise, but missed & blew water out the exhaust the 20 seconds it ran. Shocked   It ran out of gas. Looking closer she's got milky oil, & some type of sparkles in the coolant. Sealer I guessed.  Inside, guy tells me he just took it in on trade the other day & how good it runsLOL. Went from 2900, to 2500 to 2200 as I was explaining what I saw!  I'm thinking a pretty good leak into the combustion chamber[s] . There had been no rain & it's got a new muffler & raincap. He admitted to some type of problem, hence the quick price slide! I'm guessing much over 1200-1500 is the limit, since we all know it could be simple as a freeze plug or as bad as a cracked head, block, liner. Sorry so long , but curiosity has got me !!  keith so. va.

Keep him waiting longer and he will probably drop his price more.  There is no mystery - It's going to need some work.  You won't know until you examine it more.
