Happy New Year everyone. I just got this Allis Chalmers two row planter and would greatly appreciate any help in identifying the model number. I'm looking for a parts and an operators manual.
Thank you and have a great day.

That would be a 50 series unit. Universal plates with AC adaptor drive from Lincoln AG Products will work . Goggle it. Look at the hopper bottoms - under false bottom or lower lid. IF there is wear one can jb weld up the worn areas - if used worn it will result in doubles. Same goes for cut off tongue and roller. The roller is floppy when new. There should not be a groove in the tongue.

Thanks again and have a great day.

600 would be a frame = as in 300 333 330 600 etc units are 50 70 74 77 and 78 air
71 us a runner unit 72 double disc opener etc 50 series had flat chain and a crank for depth - earliest few had a lever. 72 series had flat chain and depth pins - later 74 series had roller chains. |
