It looks like Agco wants to buy CNH.  There was talk of it last year.  Maybe it will happen this time.
That would be interesting.  I imagine some lines would have to be divested just like NH had to sell Versatile to merge with Case.

If it does happen and I doubt it will it could be good for Deere unforunately.

It would be a big deal to do it they actually do it.
The combined companies would still be smaller then Deere in North America but bigger world wide.
It would be an awful big bite to handle/finance though.

They would drop everything to back McCormick tractors. I would like that better than MF. Also if that happened AGCO would own the rights to all of the legendary tractor brands except John Deere (Kubota don't count).
