You don't see these very often. I had to go check my Swinford book just to make sure Allis actually made these. Someone here should snatch this up as $1350 is cheap compared to similar V-rippers of other (aka green) brands. Anybody else own and use an Allis V-ripper? What size tractor would this take??? I'd guess at least a 7060/7080 or 8070??? Mike

I wish that was a little closer to me,cause I need one, and it's all the better if it's Allis. I think that would make my 7580 snort a little if ya socked that thing in deep. Darrel

Mike I saw that one on Craigslist last weekend but didn't have a tractor that can lift it or pull it. lol
I know you can put it on your 180 and then put two D-17's in front and maybe put the WD45 up there too, if you need some more chains just let me know. lmao

3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

Darn it, Don. That's what I was going to suggest. I don't think the One-Eighty could even get the lift arms high enough to hook it up much less lift it off the ground. LOL.

That would give a 7080 all it wants.

A good friend of mine bought an 8550 new, pulled 1 with that. He was pulling it though bottom ground and had a big rock get stuck between 2 of the shanks, that pulled kind of hard. Had to loosen up the shank toget the rock out. |

I don't think the 8050 could pull that, my 5 shank can already make her snort.

I pull a 4 shank Tye Para-till with a 7060 and 7080 both running 210hp. Neither one has trouble with it. The front end gets a little bit light when its hanging on the back even with 1000 on the 7060 and 1400 on the 7080. My uncle pulls a 5 shank Landoll with his 7080 (195hp) and it works it pretty good.
