Well, I got the grout all sealed,,,SO,, I'm getting close to putting the furniture back in the living room and dining room,,Dang,,I'll be glad to see that so I can go bout my more important "chores" outside,,,,,I just ain't an inside person,,,,,
I thought I had asked the question about installing a ceiling light in the front room ,,but I can't find it.,,,,, What is the electrical called that is installed right on to the sheetrock,,?  I seen where my new PCP Dr's office has that running along the wall so they don't have to tear up the walls to run new electrical?? (My memory must be going to Chit),,,,,LOL

I knew exactly what you wanted but my mind couldn't come up with the name. Yeah, wire mold. The mind is starting to slip.

hmm, wonder if a guy could cut a groove in the drywall and embed the wiremold 'somehow' to make it less obvious ? They do that on the other side of the pond in old plasterwalled house ( 'as seen on TV' ) .
it's still 'ugly' to me,especially when  2, $10 fishes and an hour or so, you can 'fish' a new 14/3 up to the ceiling if you don't have access  up there.

For something like this, I’d hire a professional. You are gonna look at it everyday for as long as you live in the house, and curse yourself for not having it done proper.
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

for older houses with a BIG baseboard, i have seen them remove the board, cut the drywall and lay the wire inside, then cover with the old baseboard. ........... might also be possible to install the mold right up against the baseboard, same color and not be to noticable.

OK I need to ask this, So Shameless, a bit back you had a issue with I think the kitchen light?  Did you ever get it fixed, hire a professional, or just walk and stumble in the dark?

With all the jobs Joe has talked about doing on this page... I think he is QUALIFIED to install the wire.. Maybe he is not an electrician, but running a piece of romex and connecting the ends to a switch is not rocket science.... considering he is a good mechanic to start with...... Now HOW and WHERE you put the wire is a personal preference.

We are wondering if Shameless was able to conquer that 3-way switch.
