Thought I would reach out to you guys . Having trouble with d 15 used it to pull some stuff out of the shed it died and won’t start . It is getting fuel . Changed the points condenser . No spark at the points . I have power all the way up to the points just no spark . Any ideas or help would be great thanks in advance

I would check the condenser and point face / contacts again...... If everything is OK.. possibly the coil failed on the HIGH side.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Replaced the coil with one from the 45 which we know runs points condenser are new . Thanks for the help

its a pretty basic system.... Power to the coil .... wire from coil to the point.... point is grounded to the case... Condenser is in parallel with the point..

Many new condensers are known to be BAD right out of the box... If you have a NEW coil and a NEW point.. and the wire at the point is insulated and not touching the case... it may be a bad new condenser .......... If the rotor or cap is old and cracked, it would probably misfire, but still should start.

How about the age of the plugs ??............... but you still should see ONE of them fire.

I would check the little insulator that comes thru side of distributor. Might be grounding out there. Seen it before. HTH Tracy

I had one that failed at the switch, still had power, but not enough to actually run the tractor. If all else fails, take a small jumper from the battery to the coil. alligator clip works fine for testing this.

Finally got some time to work on the 15 got it running . Turns out it was in key switch like you guys said . New switch and some wiring good to go . Thanks for your guys help
