I started collecting the Ertl restoration sets a few years back.  I have the Farmall M, JD 70, and the 8N Ford but I can't seem to find an Allis set (imagine that)!!!  Who do we need to call, write to, harrass to get them to make one?  As far as that goes, I sure wish they would make more Allis toys period.

I wish Ertl would pick up where they left off with the Precision tractors.  I was getting all ready for a late model D17 when the dropped the bottom out from under us.

I wish they would make sumthing newer then the d17 aslo.   But i had heard from a toy dealer at the St. Louis toy show last feb. that agco wont give up the rights for anything newer then the d17.

Anything newer than the D17 would require using the new triangle logo. Since AGCO doesn't own the logo they can't produce them. They would have to get permission from Allis-Chalmers Energy. I think.

I don't think it has anything to do with the tri-angle logo or being newer than the D17, I think Ertl and Agco are just not getting along for some reason.  SpecCast just made the 6000 series tractors in the last few years.

My dealer told me AGCO and Ertl can't work out an agreement and AGCO doesn't seem to care. Sounds like the same relationship AGCO has with the American farmer.

The SpecCast 6070 looks great!! They should make more of the later series. The 6070 is a model of the last tractor off the line.

SpecCast has made several 6060, 6070 and 6080 tractors.  I have four different ones myself and I know there has been at least double that with show tractors.  These tractors have great detail on them.  I have thought about building a 6080 with cab, FWA and loader out of two models.

Claus, I think they did make a 6080 with front wheel assist cab and loader. There were many configurations of those tractors. I have four of the 6000 series also, among many other older and newer orange ones.

I don't think SpecCast has even put a cab and loader together on the 6000 series tractors.  I know there is a 6060 FWA loader and rops and a 6080 2WD loader and rops, those are the only two 6000 series loader tractors I'm aware of.

thats correct, no 6000 series tractor with cab and loader produced by spec-cast yet, just the 2wd and 4wd with 4 post rop.  I have seen one customized on ebay though with a loader on the 4wd 6080.  I have the 6080 sitting on the center of my coffee table, as its one of my favorite tractors.  I have had it since they came out, but one thing i have noticed on it is that the lettering on the back of the cab glass has the "s" missing in "CHALMERS".  Any one else have this on theirs?

I believe all of the Orange Spectacular 6080 tractors have that error on the back window, I know mine does.
