If a guy wants real help fixing something or need accurate info on a tractor id come here. Facebook mechanics are a dime a dozen and most aren't smart enough to know how to blow their own nose.

It seems to me , there are more all the time on farcebook that will share things they "know", that are way off base. After you 'sort the wheat from the chaff', you still need to run it threw a grain cleaner |

I think Michael gave a hint as to 'why' he joined: "so I can buy and sell" which I guess would be Market Place. |

Market place used to have great deals--- sadly no more! I used to buy a lot of stuff on there but the deals are gone--everybody got stupid on their prices so I dont look much anymore. I just keep my page up for friends so we can stay in touch since most of them are in other states and countries.

Go to groups and search Allis Chalmers. It will also suggest groups over time.

I hate how facebook tracks everything you do but marketplace is attractive to younger guys. Just bought some stuff on marketplace today that a forum member directed me to look at. I wouldn't have known about. I think we need to keep all channels open for best deals, but I like this forum most of all!

I used to be on Facebook... until they forced that 'facial recognition' stuff... two days after they did, they sent me this: "Dear Facebook client- as you know, we recently activated our Facial Recognition algorithm universally across our platform. Facial Recognition provides security for our clientele, as well as the ability to automate connections to your friends, and eliminate false accounts. Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that we have terminated your account in accordance with our use policies. After parsing images and friend links on your account, our algorithm has determined that you are so ugly, that you belong on A$$book"

It's great to hear that you've set up a Facebook page for buying and selling. It's a valuable platform to connect with like-minded individuals and explore various discussions. If you're considering ways to enhance your social media presence, keep in mind that things might have evolved since the thread was posted. For instance, you can get instant IG likes. Besides, you can explore strategies like engaging with your audience, posting consistently, and using relevant hashtags to grow your following naturally.

I heard an awful lot of bad stuff over the years from people who were members of Facebook. FB knows when you tie your shoes. They dig into your personal life and so on. Waaaaaay to much information FB gathers on people from what I understand.... To me, folks are better off staying on forums (like this) where you can chat and help other people out with questions. No need to give out any personal information. Steve@B&B
