1951 Allis Chalmers CA tractor with belly finish mower. Serial #CA625. Cleaning up folks estate, so has not been run for several years, however always stored inside, engine loose, nice condition. Was used regularly by Dad for mowing around trees and building site. Asking $1,500 for tractor. Contact Dave cell 402-540-5987 or PM with additional questions. Decent looking tractor. Looks like a Woods L-306 mower. I've got a 1952 CA with a similar set-up. Good luck on selling it.

I was wondering if it was a Woods mower. I looked, but couldn't readily find any identifying tags or marks. Thanks for the mower info, Brian.
It is in pretty decent shape. Dad had a local retired Allis mechanic go through it and paint it after he bought it several years back.

With the rims all the way in and it just barely mowing the left tire out, I's say it's a 5' Woods mower. Sometimes it's a L59 sometimes it's a 503

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

I agree with Paul. I have 2 L-306’s and the decks and front casters don’t look like this mower. I believe it’s a 5 footer.

Nice setup, not a L306. L stands for left discharge, 3 spindles, 6’ cut. Might be a 59?

Paul, Sparky, and AC720 Man are all correct; I was wrong. It is not an L-306. Paul's description is accurate. It's not wide enough to be a 306. Sorry.

Thanks for the info. I've had a couple of people looking at the tractors and mower. They seem to agree that it is a Woods mower. Appreciate the input. Dave

I forgot to mention that Woods may not claim this designation but the “L” stands for left handed threads on the spindle nuts. Just trying to save someone some grief.
