A few months ago, I took the differential off so that I could replace the axle seals.  Finally got around to putting things back together.  Can someone tell me if I have the gear in the right way, and do I have things in the right order.  According the the manual, 2 washers go on first, then the 2 keys, then the gear (does not show which way), then snap ring and another washer before the differential gears.  If assembled this way, there will be a space between the gear and the snap ring - that does not seem right.

I hope someone can shed some light if I am on the right track.
Many thanks!

As I remember working on these, the gear goes the other way. If you install it the way you show, the differential will not be able to slip when you turn corners.

As Oldford's said, the teeth of the gear go towards the hub.
