If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

They are NOT all the same as Paul posted above. What's the number on your Distributor? I have rebuild Distributors on our website if interested. Steve@B&B bb-customcircuits.com

They are pretty easy to take apart and there is not much to them. Rusty parts are easy to clean up with a wire wheel or glass beads. This stuff just costs your time. Less than buying another one.

what is different on the distributors that would make it impossible to install ONE model on a different tractor.......... say a D15 distrib onto a D14 ?

As Fred mentioned, the advance is different. They all will drop in (and probably work) but the centrifugal advance is different from engine to engine. Hence the different part numbers on the Delco tag. When a customer needs a Distributor for his or her Tractor, I always ask them what the number is on the tag. I then give them the same Distributor as an exchange. Steve@B&B
